I need to write an essay for school that requires one interview. My essay is on how to get started in the music industry as a music producer. I need to ask questions like What does a record producer do? What advice would you have for people who want to get into music production? etc. What are some contacts I can get?

Im a Dutch producer currently in New York, producing for some local singers as part of a kind of exchange between international producers.
