Question by me: What are music companies looking for in the ideal applicant? How do I make my resume stand out?
How do I stand out from the millions of applications filtering through? What can I do to gain the specific experience they are looking for?
I moved to Los Angeles a year ago and have continuously applied to various music companies (Event planning, record labels, promotion) but never get a call back. I have a strong background in music promotion and marketing, as well as event planning experience. So I don’t know what exactly they are looking for and I am looking for some tips to make a killer cover letter to stand out and grab their attention.
