Q&A: What are business courses like?

Question by Mint Car: What are business courses like?
I’m thinking about going for a business degree..maybe online. This probably isn’t the best reason, but I really just want to go for it because I’m told it’s the best degree you can get and you can end up making some good money. My real passion is music and I don’t wanna go to school for that because I think it would be pointless. I don’t really know what to do to be honest. What can I expect from business classes? Will I have to do alot of presentations? Are the classes really hard?
What would it be like taking these classes online? Harder or easier?

Most business courses focus on group learning and group projects. Business usually involves a lot of ethics and law but, you also research things like economics, finance and communication structures. Like most college classes in order to succeed you need to read your material and go beyond most students and really learn what your reading so you understand the industry. You should always go for your passion. You sound a lot like me. My interest was mainly in music but, I didn’t really want to major in it. So instead I majored in Business Marketing and minored in Music.
