DAY 2 – ALBUMS 20-10
DAY 3 – THE TOP 10

THIS IS MY OPINION.

Here it is…. MY TOP 10 HIP HOP ALBUMS OF ALL TIME

10. JAY-Z – REASONABLE DOUBT
09. ERIC B & RAKIM – PAID IN FULL
08. A TRIBE CALLED QUEST – THE LOW END THEORY
07. DR DRE – THE CHRONIC
06. NOTORIOUS B.I.G – LIFE AFTER DEATH
05. PUBLIC ENEMY – IT TAKES A NATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK
04. WU TANG CLAN – ENTER THE WU TANG
03. NOTORIOUS B.I.G – READY TO DIE
02. SNOOP DOGGY DOGG – DOGGYSTYLE
01. NAS – ILLMATIC

There you have it….

should some of these albums have been higher? lower? or not on the list at all???

Every album in the top 10 besides Reasonable Doubt i have at one point of time said is the greatest album of all time.

the low end theory is art at its best. it changed the game. and would not be out of place at number 1.

Paid in Full was illmatic before illmatic.

Life After Death was the eastcoast’s doggystyle it was almost too good of an album. the production was flawless and the cinema experience was a first for many.

So any album could be in any order. I had trouble whether to put The Chronic at number 5
The Chronic changed how producers produced the production was the first step into the clean crisp production we hear today. and it was the father of snoop doggs doggystyle album.

At number was public enemy. without doubt the most influential hip hop album of all time. revolutionized hip hop.

enter the wu tang changed east coast music in the 90s and was its biggest influence.

The top 3 was the most difficult.

ready to die. what can i say about ready to die that hasn’t already been said. is it better than illmatic? some people say it is. this album is “pardon the pun” unbelievable. it smacks you in the face with rawness and then gives you west coast influenced smoothness to make a mixture of snoop dogg’s doggystyle and nas illmatic. but even though if you combine doggystyle and illmatic you probably get ready to die.

nothing is better then the originals.

Yes Nas – Illmatic is widely considered the hip hop bible but in my opinion the closest challenger is hip hop’s version of the michael jackson thriller album. snoop dogg’s doggystyle

doggystyle is the most complete album ever made. its flawless from start to finish. theres a constant theme and it changed the game forever. even biggie said it was his biggest influence for life after death.

but illmatic is something special. its a diamond. it is so raw that you feel that it should only be listened to on a record player or on cassette tape.

if illmatic is the eastcoasts best then doggystyle is the west coasts best.

so i put them at 1 and 2 respectively.

so what do you think?

let me know.
@ that young kid who wanted to act like i put down albums because i wanted to sound knowledgeable.
thats funny. lol

this guy just said that Paid in full in his opinion is the most influential album of all time but he thinks its garbage.

why would you think the most influential album of all time is garbage???

i love how kids who grew up listening to lil wayne and nelly wanna have a conversation on hip hop.

the reason i didn’t write down more information on why i liked these albums is because i already wrote a long ass page.

how much do you wanna know.

and 2nd everyone who this list was intended for already knows everything they need to know about Paid in full or P.Es albums.

and maybe you should check your knowledge because i wrote down the 50 greatest albums of all time and didnt need to go search the internet. i just went in my collection and pulled out my favourite cd’s and records bitch.

go listen to young jeezy fool hahaha
