Q&A: Selling Your own Music..The Rules/Consenquences?
Question by Fernando O: Selling Your own Music..The Rules/Consenquences?
k, my cuzin was a musician and ive helped him get his songs on iTunes for Sale, he sold a few albums and i kno at the end. he had 2 file his taxes,,but before you sell anything anywere, it has to be copyrighted..
So if i make Music, Lets say The Beat i made, The Lyrics i Made, and the Style i Made..is it Reccommended i Copyright all of this stuff? and if not Copyrighted whats the worse that can happend? i Wouldnt mind someone else taking my beat as long as i am nown for it..So would someone else steal my beat and copyright it as there own?

If it’s not copyrighted, then yes that can happen.
