Question by Kyle R: permission for music in a theatrical performance?
how to i go about acquiring permission/licensing to incorporate a music recording into a high school theatrical production? if it makes a difference, the show is free (no profit made) and only certain parts of songs would be used, not the entire song.
i guess i didn’t make myself clear. its a non-musical play; i’d like to use songs as interludes and pre/post-show music. any suggestions?
