Q&A: Music Jobs…?
Question by mell13: Music Jobs…?
I live for music and want to work in the music industry. I have instrumental talent, but I don’t want my main job to be playing music. I have an ear for talent and a love for all types of music. I’m looking for a way to break into the field and need some advice as to how to break into the industry. Any advice would be helpful. I don’t know if I should go to school for it or not. Please respond with any info you have.
THANKS!

An often neglected part of the music industry is stock/royalty free music and music composed for corporate communications and industrial videos. Won’t get you a Grammy award, but will pay the bills.
