Q&A: music industry?

Question by hannahrox8: music industry?
i am very interested in getting involved in the music field because i enjoy it SO much. i was just wondering what my options were if i didnt want to actually be IN a band or BE a singer but work around that type of environment? any advice will help. thanks!

Not sure where you live- but if there are any major OR minor recording companies (Sony, BMG etc) nearby- INTERN!! Even for free! A great way to prove yourself.

If you don’t, call a local recording studio and ask if you can observe and help out around the place. Or a radio station. Any exposure would be a great stepping stone!
