Q&A: Is recording online media illegal?
Question by GameLinx: Is recording online media illegal?
Any kind of media… Music, Movies, photos, ect. I know it can be illegal, but are there fair use laws against this?
Example: If you don’t sell, distribute your music, or movies.
So, bottom line, Is it illegal and why, or legal, and why?

Its copyright infringment. The copyright holder PAID what was required to have the rights. It doesn;t matter if you won’t sell it, you can copy it and give it to your freinds and it cheats the original copyright owner out of any roylaities or monies they could of have if you had purchased it as well as anyone else that received an illegal copy.
