Question by jabber: Is it easier to find music teaching jobs or professional composing jobs?
I’m a music student and am curious. Do you think it’s easier to make a living as a college music professor or a composer writing for film/tv/games/commercials etc?

College music teacher is probably an easier job to find and also it will be a steady job…Working as a composer is not going to be a steady job because it is going to be per project. You know, you can do both. You can start as a music teacher and pursue composing projects for films, tv, etc…
