Question by Cassandra T: Im wondering about a Bella/Belly band after having my next baby?
Bella Band or something similar that supposedly helps contract stomach muscles after giving birth and supports belly before and after birth?
did it work for you to get your pre pregnancy tummy back or close to your pre pregnancy tummy?

As a mom and fitness buff, I absolutely recommend wearing one. I received an abdominal splint at the hospital after a c-section and wore it for several weeks. It is surprising comfortable and really helps support your back. It will not contract your stomach muscles, but will assist them in proper positioning as your stomach heals and strengthens. There is a wonderful book called “How to Lose Your Mummy Tummy” by Julie Tupler. It explains how to properly and safely do ab work almost immediately after giving birth. The author recommends wearing abdominal splints after birth and, later, while exercising.
Your tummy may not look the same because of stretch marks and looser skin, but you can strengthen your stomach so that it is relatively flat. Of course a strong core is also highly beneficial to your posture and health while carrying an increasingly heavy baby.
