you can just go out and get signed to a record company.
trying getting a band together and record song with you singing. if you have a mic on your computer use audacity. then upload the songs to a myspace. you will have to play small shows at local venues and get the word abou t your music and your voice out. a friend of mine just got signed a year ago and it took her a good 10 years before she got signed but it was worth it because shes now apart of a major record label and livin the good life on tour.
