A contract is an agreement where two (or more) parties each agree to do something for or give something to the other.
The agreement itself is anything that is clearly defined in terms of what each person promises.
The simplest way to write it out is to write a sentence saying that the two parties are agreeing to do the following, and then list what each person is promising to do. Be as specific as possible.
