…people make it big with no talent whatsoever. I was bored a few minutes ago so I started looking through Entertainment Weekly and what I read in there was absolutely unbelievable.
First of all, how the hell does Miley Cyrus dominate the charts? She is one of the most talentless “performers” I’ve ever seen yet 170K+ people bought her CD in the past week.
Second of all, I read an article on this guy who supposedly won American Idol this past year (I can’t even remember his name) and it talked about him making his first CD. In the article it says, “The singer’s management had solicited 28 songs from some of music’s A-list writers and producers…” This guy can’t even write his own songs? He can’t even get the pre-made songs on his own? He relies on his management to go out and find songs that some “A-list writers” wrote? And in the end… thousands of people will buy the garbage with his name on it. What has the music industry come to?
