Question by Back 2 back in 0ten: Do you think there should be a salary cap for rookies coming out of college?
Or include a performance clause in their contract. Too many high draft picks turn out to be “busts” yet still earn fat paychecks.

Yes, I believe the NBA has one and it would not be hard to do. The players union represents current NFL players not future 1st round drift picks. At the next Collective bargaining agreement the owners should bring up the fact veterans who have proved themselves can get paid because of the huge checks going to unproven rookies.
