Q&A: ’69 bronco, needs music!! help?

Question by チンチラ: ’69 bronco, needs music!! help?
i have a ’69 bronco and all it has, stock, is am radio… and thats not going to satisfy my music needs. all i looking for is a better am/fm radio and casset player. why do i want out dated equipment? well the bronc is a soft top and i really don’t feel like buying some great stereo system then have it stollen the next day. also i’m gonna need speekers (nothing huge and great, cause again, i don’t want to get ripped off)

so i need help finding websites that sell what i’m looking for. i’m really paranoid about buying stollen stuff online, thats not my motive. can you help me find a decent (not used preferably, and NOT on ebay) casset player and speakers at an online store, that i can be guaranteed their stuff is not stollen. thanks!

ps- wondering about the casset player? yes i am a vintage junky, but i have more 8-tracks than cassets. haha i’ll be buying one of those casset things with the wire that can plug into your mp3 jack. 🙂 lol

Be cautious of cassette adapaters. They can ruin the tape deck (happened to me).

You can get good deals for stereos from these sites:

An alternative to the cassette adapter…http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01

It’s not wireless so there’s no interference. Not to be confused with an FM transmitter. Basically it adds an AUX input to ANY radio. No searching for a clean channel.

It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch.

This is the answer. Totally versatile.
