Natasha Rathnayake – Runaway

RUNAWAY is the first official single by the hottest Sri Lankan artist,”Natasha Rathnayake”,who was well known and famous for Jazz music earlier.She was also considered as a top model in Sri Lanka due to her exotic cuteness.So she released her first music album,”My Obession” which contained great Jazz music. In late 2008,Natasha started working with a young producer/composer named “Azlan Shariffdeen”.As a result of teaming up,they produced a new track called “RUNAWAY”,and also they were able to release this track by January 2009. This hit single became a superb hit all over Sri Lanka, and overseas as well.As a result of this, ” Radio Express” in USA picked this up for inclusion in their compilation.Then Natasha became the SECOND ASIAN ARTIST after MIA to be featured on “Radio Express” compilation.Then Urban,Euro & Pop compilations were send to over 4000 RADIO STATIONS spread all around the world. After that “Runaway” track aired up in various European,Middle Eastern,African and Asian Radio stations.So we’re glad to say that,this track has climbed upto 11 in “VA-Radioplay Euro Express”.So Natasha have been able to pass the famous artists like Shontelle,Justin Timberlake,Taylor Swift,Seether,TI,Young Jeezy,Flo Rida,Metro Station,Robin Thicke,Lil Wayne and many others as well. So Ruanaway’s progress is very good for the first 5 months.And also it will ROCK all the music fans from all over the world.Earlier Sri Lanka was famous for Cricket…????.But in the future our country …
