Music promotional business license in Tokyo Japan.?
Published December 28, 2010
Question by Something strange going on!: Music promotional business license in Tokyo Japan.?
Hello! I have a small promotions company that I am looking to take over to Tokyo to promote some American artists. I am trying to find out how to get a business license in Tokyo, and a license and/or permit to do small open air concerts for the artists I am promoting. Thanks a bunch!
Sorry for the long run on sentence.

You don’t need any license to promote music in Japan. All you have to do is to start a company. But if the company is already there, you can take over it.
And you also don’t need a license for open air concert.
