I want to be a music producer and eventually own my own record label. I’m currently in high school and I need help! I have so many questions. I know that I’m only in high school but I really want to be ready for the music business.
1. What high school credits do I need to get into a good music college?
2. What is a good music college for becoming a producer?
3. What courses do I have to take in college?
4. How do I get my foot in the door?
5. Any other advice would be helpful!

Oh someone like me,you can get a early start right now but you need to be devoted. By some music software such as FL Studios,that’s what i use & so does Jermaine Dupri. I’m going to a music college in two years. They don’t give a crap about credits,it’s a music school your school abilities don’t affect your music abilities and they do they know that. I plan on going to The Music School Of New York,that’s the actual name of it. You take the usual courses that are required,but instead of selected classes you take Music instead of art and all that crap. Far as getting your foot in the door,they’ll give you projects with artists soon to be famous,you can be an intern and a million other little things. My advice is try any sound and listen to every genre of music until you find what’s for you and what your style is or just versitile.
