music career help please?

alright i love music and i’m really considering a career in the music business but i was wondering what people knew about these jobs, like requirements, difficulty in getting a job, and any other helpful info.

artist management
booking/ touring
marketing
producer
promotion

i’m mostly intrested in artist management or producer but i’m really not sure so any advice and information is helpful.

also any places that offer internships to high school students for any of this would be wonderful!

the music industry is one of the hardest industries to get into due to too many people, too little jobs.

trust me, i’m trying! the closest i’ve got is working in a record shop! you need a LOT of experience for anyone to even consider you so offer to do as much voluntary work experience as you can. send a resume and cover letter to every place you can think of. and expect a lot of rejection but don’t take it personally. it’s just a million other people are doing the same.
