Majoring in music business and entertainment industries at University of Miami?

Question by Shelby: Majoring in music business and entertainment industries at University of Miami?
On UM’s website it says this major is for “qualified musicians”. I am not a musician but I am interested in the management etc side of the music industry. I was wondering if it is required to be a musician to major in this?

It appears from your description that you do have to be a musician but contact the school to make certain./
