The Revelers–the original Revelers were tenors Franklyn Baur (1.) and Lewis James (2.), baritone Elliot Shaw (3.), bass Wilfred Glenn (4.), and pianist Frank Black, 5.)are best known today for inspiring the German singing group, The Comedian Harmonists. Lead tenor Franklyn Baur is also featured as the vocalist on the Whiteman Band’s first electrical recording, “Valencia”.
