From ‘Venice’ to the ‘Moon,’ local theater rose to new heights
Fundraising, dramatic growth and feverish creative activity led to 2010, which I can say without reservation was one hellacious year for local theater. Don’t get me wrong — it’s still possible to see dreadful shows in Kansas City. And you can see quite a few that should have been better. But the very best are exceptional.
