At their meeting on Monday evening, May 31, 2010, the NAIT Board of Governors approved a three-year contract which will see NAIT Academic Staff Association (NASA) members receive 0% in 2010/11, 2% in 2011/12 and 3% in 2012/13. The NASA membership had previously held their ratification vote on May 11th, with 78% voting in favor of the agreement. This agreement is the fourth consecutive negotiated three year contract between NAIT and NASA.

The Village of Angel Fire Police Department and municipal court are moving across town. During an April 26 meeting, the Village of Angel Fire Council unanimously approved the four-year lease of three units in the Enchanted Home Design Center for the police department and court.
