Over the years the experimentation in music has become almost void; the determination to create something not in fact good or bad has been lost and replaced by lazy people who just apply the formula and recycle the ideas of someone else. Mapumblugh is not a project that fits in the with the music anomaly, and is not much used in the mainstream at least in the past years. It represents a sound that is (honestly) unpredictable, experimental, shapeless and (more than anything) original.
Duets composed by music producers Omar Alejandro and Diego Xitec, who, with their unique experimentations, try to turn the normal sounds of instruments into intricate cacophonies that are not easy to listen to. Making their way through using as few mainstream ideals regarding music as possible, to create pieces that represent more an imaginary set of work (misshapen and distant) rather than a beautiful transcendent melody .
The sound of Mapumblugh is not an experience related to computers or technology. All of Mapumblughs pieces do not contain any kind of style (analog or digital), this is based in the fact that each one of their works are free improvisations made by movements that create a sonic expectation (to their creators), driven by the sound of normal instruments, which they hit, break and deform to create the unique sound of Mapumblugh.
