O’Fallon teachers’ wage freeze will save 16 jobs
Although the O’Fallon Township District 203 approved increasing fees, eliminating staff positions, freezing salaries and slashing its supplies budget, the tone at Thursday night’s special board meeting was a celebratory one because of an agreement the district made with its teachers that saved 16 jobs — 12 teachers and four teacher assistants.
