DIANA KING was born November 8, 1970 in Spanish Town, Jamaica. She is an R&B, pop, reggae, and dancehall singer-songwriter. She was born to a Jamaican Indian mother and an African father.
After making an appearance on a 1994 Notorious B.I.G. song, Diana King signed a recording contract with Sony Music. Her debut album Tougher Than Love spawned the massive hit single "Shy Guy", which also made the soundtrack of Bad Boys (1995), and the follow up, "Ain’t Nobody", a cover of the 1970’s hit by Rufus & Chaka Khan.
She scored another big hit two years later with a dance/reggae cover of the Dionne Warwick hit, "I Say a Little Prayer", which was also featured on the OST of My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997).
Since then, Diana King has had numerous music projects, as well as TV appearances, live performances and awards. She’s currently writing and recording under her own label, and goes on concert tours in Asia annually.
