is it possible to sign a contract similar to the prenuptial agreement after the marriage?
Question by amateurgrower: is it possible to sign a contract similar to the prenuptial agreement after the marriage?
The situation is that we have not been living together since our marriage cause my husband is american and I do not have a visa to go to that country yet. This also means that we do not have any wealth that we have accumulated together as we have been leading separate lives. Do you think it’s still possible to sign an agreement similar to the prenuptial?

Not under American law.
Under American law, that which is signed first takes priority. In your case, the marriage license/agreement takes priority over anything you might sign later.
Many other nations have similar laws. You need to check the law of the nation in which you were married. Heaven help you if you got married in a nation under Islamic law where the man owns everything.
