Is it okay to cut ethical corners in these financial times?
Question by B: Is it okay to cut ethical corners in these financial times?
In the past, I’ve been hugely against the illegal digital distribution of music. Every song I own has been bought in a store on a CD, or through iTunes.
This is just one example, but do you think in these troubling financial times it is okay to do little things like “steal” music?

It’s never a good idea to compromise your values, even if you think it’s a minor act.
Not that I care about some big company’s profits, but you will have degraded your values. Doesn’t matter what the item is, if YOU think it is stealing, then it isn’t good for you..
Historically, people and businesses that have operated with moral values have always prospered in the long run, even in economic down times.
