Is it legal for a minor to sell music online?
Published November 1, 2010
Question by Es lebe Deutschland: Is it legal for a minor to sell music online?
Also, how would I pay taxes on the royalties?
What I mean is posting it on one of those self-publishing sites. And it is my own music
Best answer:
Answer by Who aren’t you?
If you do not own the music, you are not legally allowed to sell it.
Since you are asking about music with royalties, you are not allowed to sell it. Unless you established a business that was a website like itunes and similar stuff, either way, you cannot do that as a minor.
So short answer: No
