Is getting in to the music journalism business incredibly difficult?
Published February 4, 2011
Question by xDark_Genomex =): Is getting in to the music journalism business incredibly difficult?
I always here of journalism majors just completely failing at finding any jobs, this frightens me. So is it incredibly hard and unrealistic to set it as my main career goal after college?
Also I don’t really plan on doing music journalism on mainstream music, more or independent/underground musicians and bands and that all underground music thing. I love indie music.
@rpe – music journalism does exist, I’m not trying to “create a job” for myself.

Find people who are doing it & talk to them about it.
