I purchased the software to do music production but it is less functional than the demo version. Is that usual?

The demo version is the XXL version with saving disabled (and some whitenoise in some of the synths).
If you then go buy the express version, you will find it’s not half what the demo did.
You had to make a choice which version you bought, and if you didn’t look carefully at the feature list… sorry!

I bought the Fruity Edition and then upgraded to the Producer Edition cause I needed some of the features in that one…

You could perhaps still upgrade, or request a refund maybe dunno.
