Is anyone else tired of producers appearing in music videos?

Question by Zd: Is anyone else tired of producers appearing in music videos?
I’m not easily disturbed by pop culture, but this Timbaland (wow, I named myself after a shoe) character is just too much.
Okay, I get it, you produce (relatively) great stuff by Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake and numerous rap/r&b stars. Do you need to appear in a gazillion videos to feed your ego/get noticed?
And don’t even get me started on making your own “album” by getting vocalists to “feature” on it and top it tracks by singing with a highly synthesized/edited voice.
Sorry I started to rant. Maybe I just don’t get huge parts of pop culture. I guess you might as well get your 15 minutes while you can…

Actually, I like Timbaland (Tim Mosley), but I too may get tired of him. His facial expressions remind me of someone I knew. He did not name himself. A musician started calling him that and it stuck
