If a college offers degrees in music and in business, could you be a music business major?

Question by Jayla C: If a college offers degrees in music and in business, could you be a music business major?
This fall I will be applying to schools and am 80% sure that I want to be a music business major.

One school that I’ve looked at has, on their website, music business as an actual study program, none of the other schools do. —but they do offer degrees in business and degrees in music.

Can you mix and match like that?
Or just because they have business, and music, they may not have other essential classes for that particular career (but an independent learning class or internship may be possible?)

Some schools have a student designed major program, so you would be able to combine them. But if the schools does not have that program you would have to double major in both music and business.
