Question by Charles Moore: I want to sell artists’ music online. How do I get ahold of the producing companies to sell the music.?
If I can just play the music online free of charge that would be ok. What I want to do is allow users to get ahold of music that they can readily listen to. If I have to sell it and then give the music companies their cut then I will.

Do you own the rights to the music? If you do not, the first thing you need to do is get a lawyer on retainer, because the musicians or recording labels are going to sue you.
And win.
