Question by Paul B: I have a question about my music business course and one of the problems we have to solve?
(g) Royalties as hereinabove specified shall be payable solely to Writer in instances where Writer is the sole writer of the entire composition, including the words thereof
Does this mean if someone I wrote a song for decided to change one verse that the person who wrote it wouldn’t recieve any money.

The issue is that if the same person writes the music and the lyrics, that person will receive all of the specified royalties.
The stated sentence does not seem to address the issue of “changes” in a verse which are made by someone “for whom a song is written”. Those issues should be addressed separately.
