Question by Holy Rollin’!: How would knowing a foreign language be advantageous if you’re a musician or music producer?
Because we’re doing a project in my class where we research a career and make a project about how knowing Spanish would help. I picked “music players” mistakenly from the list and I don’t know what Spanish has to offer in that career if you’re not gonna be famous enough to travel to Spanish-speaking countries, and if your group doesn’t sing in Spanish anyway.
I need much more info than how it’s going to make money.

Beyonce did this with her last CD. She released a Spanish version of alot of her songs. You do it to make more money. Alot of people in the US speak Spanish exclusively, so if you put out songs in Spanish and in English you increase the number of people who would here your music, thus selling more records, and making more money.

Beyonce’s song “to the left to the left” has a spanish equivalent.
