how to make a contract for a dog trainer?
Question by nicole: how to make a contract for a dog trainer?
just wondering, maybe you dog breeders have any idea or could help me with this:
Alright, I wanna make a paper for the dog trainer to sign so there would be a form of agreement that he’ll do his job well as he’s gonna be completely paid. What should be the contents of the letter? I just want a written proof of his service.
kinda having a hard time to find a template from the net…thanx!
(by the way, its a home service training, its the usual stuff for the pet standard here in my country, than boarding the dog (unless the k9 training).
..and yup, of course i will be seeing how the dog is trained as perhaps to teach me too how to train it. i’m just talking bout the financial purposes only, I just want to have papers and get organized. i’ve already tried training my doggie myself (i’ve already trained my previous dogs, fyi) but he’s kinda stubborn, that’s why i wanna seek help from the professionals this time, i guess there’s nothing wrong trying.
btw, im not a u.s. resident. hope you understand that some things are not so easy here in my country.
(i dont need sermons here, ok?)

Two things to remember about contracts. Usually the business person drafts it and if it is unclear, a court of law holds the drafter responsible.
A contract needs to have a meeting of the minds and benefits of both people.
You need to put in there how much you expect to pay and what you expect for that amount of money. How much time do you expect to spend with the dog trainer? Will it be based on results or effort? When will the contracts terms be fulfilled (either a date it ends, or when certain terms are met). You don’t want anything vague like “when both parties agree”.
However you need to look up laws in your country. Each country has different laws. You said it is not so easy in your country.
