How to get my band into the music industry?

Ok, so I’ve been managing a band for a year now and I started out by making them stick to a schedule with rehearsing and creating more ideas for originals, recording more songs and doing more covers as well as playing live shows. Everything has been going great but now I want to get them signed with record label. I know I have to send out a demo, and It’s what I’m preparing for but what else can I do so that the band gets more exposure outside Egypt.

Note that its an Egyptian power metal band and not much people in Egypt listen to that kind of music.

Should I contact venues, A&R people or what?

and just search for “Redeemers apologize” on youtube. That’s a cover for one republic’s apologize. Check their youtube page out and you’ll find their originals and another cover for phantom of the opera.

Cyrill: yes it’s not a huge metal scene in Egypt.

If your band is really good they will get into the music indusry. If your band is not that good then they will not make it into the music industry. I would think for a manager you would know that by now.
