How long does it take to receive your contract?
Question by REGINA J: How long does it take to receive your contract?
I was offered contract employment and passed the fingerprinting. I asked about the fingerprinting and they said they would call to set up an appointment to sign the contract. How long does this normally take. I don’t want to keep calling because it might be viewed unfavorably. The job isn’t to start until the 2007 – 2008 school year. I just want to be sure.

I noticed that in one of your answers you quoted a name of a successful business person. now lets take a look at this. if you are just sitting around waiting for the school district to call you then something most likely will not happen… If you think like a successful business person, you will follow up on your leads. When you are looking for a job, you are becoming a sales person, as weird as that sounds it’s true. You are selling your services for a certain amount of salary a year. and what any good sales person does, is that they follow up on their leads. You need to close the sale Regina. If you don’t ask for the close, in this case your job, then the client, your future employer, will go and find some one else to close the sale, they hire some one else. You should give them a call, when i was waiting to get a job where I’m working now, i called them every day after I had my interview and asked for an update on my prospective job. I ended up getting hired a week later.
