Question by Eric: How long does it take for CD Baby to get your music up on iTunes?
My band submitted our album for digital distribution with CD Baby today. I realize that once it is submitted, the time it is available is up to Apple. Does anyone know how long it usually takes (more specific than CD Baby’s “1-3 weeks”)?
My band is called Zion Rising! You can check us out at www.zionrising.net and buy our music at http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/ZionRising !!

Hey there – Once you have given us final approval that your album info is correct, we usually have it delivered to iTunes in 1 day. After they have it, it’s up to them to post it in their store, but they usually have it up within a day or two. The 1-3 week estimate on our site is very conservative. iTunes doesn’t report back to us when it’s live, so you’ll have to check the iTunes store to see when it’s available. The only exception to this is if you use the release date option. In that case, your album will go live on the date you have set as the release date.
