could be anywhere from 6 months to 10 years, to never, it all depends on:
– getting heard by the right people
– having the right look
– actually being any good
in that order, unfortunately.
you can still tour without a record deal or any other sort of deal, but it’s hard work coz you have to book all the gigs yourself.
best thing to do is look for a manager – they will do everything else for you once you find one (usually).
