How does the music industry work? How do you get paid? Like do you have a contract with your salary on it or do you get a percentage? For instance you sell 2,000,000 copies of your album, which the price of selling that many would be $ 20,000,000 (if album is $ 10) and $ 40,000,000 (if its $ 20). So, you won’t get that 20 or 40 million bucks. Also, if you went and had sold out concerts how do you get paid as well.

Well the music industry earns alot of money anyway because if its in a studio, and the album reaches to the number one charts, then that record company will get thousands of pounds and will be able to make more albums and more and more.
