They are a full fledged band. They are between the ages of 30 something to 40 something. I say it is NEVER too late. Right? But, how?
Contact info would help as well!

You can try to send a demo tape to some indie record companies – some majors accept them from time to time as well. Check websites and look for info on submissions and the guidelines you have to follow.
Does this band play locally? Get a following! A lot of people think it’s the end all be all to be a superstar act, but it is not all it is cracked up to be. If you can have a good following and play locally or tour on your own, some bands are even better off doing it that way because the cost associated with a label fronting you for the cost of an album, video, etc – some bands never see a penny in earnings because all the money their records make go to recouping the cost of their advance.
You may want to consult an entertainment lawyer for some help and information. Also, MTV has a system much like the radio stations do – record companies pay them to show videos by their artists. Anyone who thinks TRL is actually driven by viewer requests is unfortunately wrong! If nothing else, gog to a book on the music industry for a little info; there are many books by entertainment lawyers out there and one of the best is by Don Passman. Moses Avalon writes one as well, that is for some an easier read with much the same information, but his is a bit more biased as well.
Good luck!
