Hi. I have composed quite a few pieces and I want to see to it that they get published. What steps should I take to do so? Thank you.

Good luck with that. There are hundreds of composers just like you who would love to have their music published.
First make sure that everything in your scores looks professional, meaning all notation standards are strictly observed, and everything is legible. Make sure there are no amateur mistakes (like notes out of the range of instruments)
Once you have some good scores there are many avenues you can try:
Mail some pieces to publishers. If you have a composition teacher who thinks highly of you, ask them to write a cover letter.
Win a competition. Once you have some credentials, publishers are more willing to give your music a chance.
Self-publish: you front the money and the risk of no-one buying it.
