How do I proceed with a music royalty suit?

Question by Joshua R: How do I proceed with a music royalty suit?
I co-wrote, sang and played drums on two albums which are currently selling on iTUNES, Walmart, and a whole bunch of sites all over the world. The music is equally shared by three of us. We agreed that they (the other two members) would pay me from any sales bi-annually. I have not been compensated as of yet. This is going on four years now. We have not had contact since then. We have no record contract, which makes things stickier, but I do have the email in which the agreement was made. Where can I begin?
