I have written many classical songs that I want to publish or somehow make money off of, but I have no idea where to start. Could some explain how I find a publishing company to publish my sheet music and how I make money off of it? Does the company buy my music, and I make one profit from the original sale, or does it work some other way? Also, how long will it take? Please help!

Classical = Western art music
‘Classic’ = Abba / Frank Sinatra / a McDonald’s Big Mac sandwich / vintage Led Zeppelin / Logo for Camel cigarettes / etc. / etc. / etc.
The clip is some contemporary Classical music (American) ~ music starts at about 1:20
