Question by Kay: how do I find lyricist gigs? Im looking for producers and composers who need a writer?
I’ve been writing creatively for about 10 years now. and I’ve written songs for DJ’s and Bands. Im still just getting my foot in the door and I would like to keep getting work. The more contacts I make, the better. Im looking to collaborate with someone who is as serious and passionate about music and art as I am. I have the ability to create melodies in my head and write for a wide variety of genres and topics. Please help if you know anything about the music business and or finding work as a creative writer.

to get into the music industry you need an artist in the making, material,
a singer to sing your songs at gigs and stuff,
as soon as people hear the songs you’ve written.
i’ve been trying to write songs for myself to sing for ages me and my bestfriend who can sing have written a couple,
but if theres no-one to sing them with that special talent then there useless,
you need to find the next biggest thing,
the new thing.
