How do artists get their start on record labels?
Published March 13, 2011
Question by Burt Bacharach: How do artists get their start on record labels?
Do they all just get lucky by knowing someone, or do they submit demo’s like saps like me? Basically, what I’m asking is this: What should I be doing to get my music out there? I live in a quiet, small, secluded community, so I don’t have options to get my name out in clubs or anything. What should I do?
