Question by Anonymous: How can you get an inexpensive new cell phone without extending your contract?
I have a T-Mobile contract for another year or so, but my phone has started to show signs of dying. I want to switch to Verizon when my contract is up, so I don’t want to extend my contract.
Is there any way to get an inexpensive phone without extending my T-Mobile contract?

I had the same problem once. I just went on ebay, bought a simple cheap unlocked tri-band phone that uses a sim card. Then, just switch out the sim card into the new phone. That’s how i did it anyway, maybe someone has a better idea…
